Megan A. Mwangi is a board-certified nurse practitioner in family medicine. She received her Master’s of Science in Nursing from Western Governor’s University and a Post Master’s Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate from Briar Cliff University. Megan began her work in the healthcare profession at age 16, when she provided direct care to individuals with disabilities in Sigourney. She continued to work in disability services until becoming a CNA in 2010. Before completing her Family Nurse Practitioner, she worked as a Registered Nurse at the Keokuk County Health Center in an emergency room (ER) and acute care setting. Her ER experience helped prepare her for working with patients of every age and various needs.
